September 16, 2007 Update

• Facilities Team: On Monday, August 20, we (the church) went before the University Park Planning and Zoning Commission to request approval of the rezoning necessary to implement our new facilities-plan. By a vote of four to one, the Commission approved our request, sending it on to the full City Council for review in September or October. The Commission asked us to clarify three relatively minor issues with our neighbors prior to the City Council meeting, which we are confident we can do.
  
  
• Church Archive Team: Staff sponsor Chris Denney and team leader Sam Childers are still looking for volunteers to help with this absolutely critical project. People interested in helping, particularly those with experience in intellectual property, financial records, and (especially) database design and translation (catalog conversion from DOS to Windows), please contact Tom Kirwin (tkirwin@dallasuu.org).
