November 11, 2007 Update
- Facilities Master Plan Project Team: On Tuesday, October 23, the University Park City Council approved our request to rezone our campus, bringing the new lot on St. Andrews into our Planned Development. This approval gives us the go-ahead to prepare final plans and build. We will have to go before the Council for approval one more time, when our final plans are prepared, to demonstrate that they are in conformance with the conceptual plan we submitted and with the language of the City ordinance that
was approved with our rezoning. - Center for Public Dialog: The next Leadership Team meeting on November 8 will feature the Center for Public Dialog business-plan presentation. Church members are welcome and invited to attend.
- Publicity and Branding: The Communications Team asks that all members please go to www.dallasuu.org and sign up to receive The Dallas Unitarian newsletter (DU) electronically. We have recently added the ability for you to specify your interests in other church communications. The choices include Religious Education and Activities (RE) - Adults, RE - Youth (teens), RE - Children, Choir and Music Programs, Social Justice and Community Service, Volunteer Opportunities, Spiritual Practice, Ministerial Notices, and Friday Reminders (Activities and Announcements). Those who signed up earlier but were not given these choices may do so again to register their preferences. Each email sent from the new lists will also include the ability to un-subscribe.
