What are Sunday services like?
First Unitarian Church of Dallas's Sunday
services typically include the following: music, singing of hymns, readings,
and a sermon.
Where do I park?
We have ample parking near the church.
Also, Highland
Park Village (at Preston & Mockingbird) offers their parking lot to
us during Sunday morning church service.
What should my children and I
wear to this church?
Some people dress up and some people dress
casually. Wear what feels comfortable to you.
Is there child care/Sunday
school during church?
Child care is available for younger children
during services. All year long there are religious education classes on Sundays
for children and youths. For more information about the curriculm, click here.
If my child doesn't separate well, can my child
stay with me during the service?
Your child is always welcome to stay with you during the worship
service. Please be considerate of others if your child becomes restless.
Are all people welcome in this congregation?
We strive to respect and welcome all people.

support spiritual development guided by freedom, reason, and conscience.
How do I meet other people? How do I get involved?
Attend a service. You will be greeted at
the door and can learn about small group opportunities for education and spiritual
growth. Stay for coffee and conversation in Channing
Hall following the service. Give some thought to whether you prefer to meet
new people in social- or work-related activities; we offer plenty of both options.
For example, you can enroll in an adult religious education class or join any
number of committees to work on specific projects that match your skills/interests.
