We are each blessed by the other...

The results of several recent surveys point to the conclusion that people find life more satisfying when they are involved in a religious community. While we certainly enjoy attending worship services where we are inspired by words of wisdom and music that stirs our souls, the survey didn’t say that people find life more satisfying when they simply sit in the pews. The results said that people feel life is more satisfying when they are involved!

You want your children to be eager about getting out of bed on Sunday mornings and happy to come to classes. What better way to make that happen than for you to model just that yourself?

This doesn’t mean that you’re simply eager to attend worship, it means that you model for your children that you’re eager to be involved in their programs and with their friends. Click on the "teach" and "support" links to learn how you can do just that.

"Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michaelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children."
