White Rock Lake Shoreline Spruce-Up

Always the second Saturday of the month – March 11 this month. We are having a “deep clean” this month! The shoreline vegetation has died back, exposing litter that was not previously visible or reachable. We want to get it removed before the spring growth returns. Enjoy the morning beauty of the lake by joining fellow UUs as we spruce up our adopted shoreline at White Rock Lake.  Meet in the parking lot south of Fisher and West Lawther at 8:30 am.  We provide the trash bags, gloves and reach-it tools.  All ages welcome. Contact Skip Leavitt for additional info at

CitySquare Thrift Store

On the 3rd Saturday each month, help prepare donated items for sale and help make store ready for customers at 1213 N. Washington.  Mar. 18, 10:15am – 12:15pm. With parents, children 10 and over are welcome.  Contact Kat Krone for additional info at

CitySquare Food Pantry

Be a grocer the second Tuesday of each month for a few hours by helping distribute food to our neighbors in need.  Some lifting and reaching required.  Tuesday, March 14, 1:00-4:00 at 1610 S. Malcom X Blvd.  Contact Patty Raggio for additional info at
