Sunday, June 4th from 2:00-5:00pm
at First Unitarian Church of Dallas
Join racial equity and justice trainer Heather Hackman for a community conversation and workshop on race, justice and the future of Dallas.
Nearly a year has passed since the July 7th shootings in Downtown Dallas. As we remember and honor those we lost in the horrific events of that day, we also continue to confront the divisions and inequities in our community to which July 7th’s peaceful protest called attention.
Reconciling the injustice in our system is central to our pursuit of healing from it. On Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2:00pm, Dr. Heather Hackman will facilitate a conversation and engage community members to discuss systemic inequities in Dallas and their contribution to division in our community.
Dr. Heather Hackman has been teaching and training on social justice issues since 1992.
